Sunil’s ‘Majako Mallika’ Sparks Momentum for Kattalan Ahead of Pan-India Release

With expectations steadily building around Kattalan, the makers have unveiled the film’s first single, “Majako Mallika,” setting the tone for what promises to be a high-voltage action spectacle. The track arrives as a strategic promotional move, spotlighting Telugu actor Sunil in a flamboyant, crowd-pleasing avatar.
Known to Malayali audiences through impactful performances in Pushpa: The Rise and Jailer, Sunil brings kinetic energy to the screen with a dance number crafted for mass appeal. Composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, the song blends festive beats with vibrant choreography. Lyrics are penned by Vinayak Shashikumar, while Anand Sriraj and Bhadra lend their vocals. Reflecting its pan-India ambition, the track has been released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
Directed by Paul George and produced by Shareef Muhammed under Cubes Entertainments, Kattalan is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on May 14. The teaser has already drawn strong attention for its scale and action design, with stunt sequences choreographed by internationally acclaimed action director Kecha Khamphakdee, renowned for his work in Ong-Bak.
The film features Antony Varghese in the lead, joined by Dushara Vijayan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Raj Tharandasu, Parth Tiwari, and seasoned Malayalam actors Jagadish and Siddique.
Positioned as a large-scale pan-India entertainer, Kattalan is gearing up to translate its musical buzz into a powerful theatrical opening this summer.
