Sunny Deol Praises South Cinema at 'Jatt' Trailer Launch, Urges Bollywood to Stay True to Its Roots

Popular Hindi actor Sunny Deol is currently starring in the Hindi film "Jatt." The movie features Regina Cassandra, Randeep Hooda, Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu, and others. It is directed by Telugu filmmaker Gopichand Malineni and produced by the Telugu film production company Mythri Movie Makers, known for "Pushpa."

The trailer launch event for "Jatt" was held in Mumbai ahead of its April 10 release. During the event, Sunny Deol praised South Indian producers, stating that Hindi filmmakers should learn from them how to produce films with passion.

He emphasized that Hindi cinema should first focus on quality production before learning how to enhance it. In South Indian films, the story is the real hero. He enjoyed working with the "Jatt" team and expressed interest in collaborating with them again. He even mentioned the possibility of working in South Indian cinema in the future.

Sunny Deol also pointed out that many Hindi filmmakers, in their pursuit of modern trends, are forgetting their cultural roots. He admired South Indian cinema for staying true to its essence, which is why their films are widely appreciated across India. He urged Hindi cinema to follow this path and reconnect with its roots.
