After senior CPI leader Atul Anjan created uproar over porn star turned Bollywood actress Sunny Leone’s condom advertisement labeling it hazardous to the society as it would rise cases of rape, another government official, the chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women Barkha Shukla Singh has condemned the advertisement criticizing it as ‘Immoral and evil!

Briefing media Barkha Shukla Singh said, “The shabby, ugly or immoral ways the actress seduces or sexually provokes a man in the advertisement to use condoms is nothing but serving immorality and bad practice to the audience of the country which is not acceptable in a country of moral values, ethics, religious values and spiritualism renowned as abode of gods around the globe.”

The advertisement in question is the hot and seductive TV commercial of Manforce condoms which is currently a rage on national television. In this advertisement Sunny Leone advertises chocolate flavored condoms. She looks stunningly sexy and captivates viewers with her alluring charm.

Reacting to the protest Sunny Leone expressed sorrow on the narrow-mindedness of few people. In her tweet she mourned, “Sad when people of power waste their time and energy on me, instead of focusing on helping those in need!!!!!.

It may be noted Sunny Leone in her tweet has evidently hit out at the CPI leader Atul Anjan, who in his criticism has condemned the advertisement giving in details of the weakness of the advertisement. Thus indicating the minister has seen the advertisement with great passion and in details!!

Interestingly actress Shilpa Shetty has daringly came out in support of actress Sunny Leone and termed the criticism as ‘Silly’.

She said, “It's just some of the fringe who thinks like that. I don't think everybody thinks like that, it's very silly and much attention should not be given to such things.” I just think that all five fingers can't be like each other. You got to have all kinds that make the world. Just concentrate on the positives,” she concluded.

Meanwhile after a hue and cry over the ridiculous remark made by CPI leader Atul Anjan on the electronic media, Mr. Anjaan issued an apology. However sticking to his guns he asserted, I apologise but let me make it clear I don't stand for such ads.

He added, “Sunny Leone's ads are vulgar. I am not anti-condoms but the language used in the ad is not right.”
