Actor Arvind Swami made a return to the industry with Maniratnam's Kadal and later made a huge impact with Mohan Raja's Thani oruvan, playing the deadly villain Siddharth Abhimanyu which started his second innings.
Following this, he was seen in movies like Bogan, Baskar oru Rascal, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam etc and is now acting in few movies like Pulanaivu, Kallapart, etc. The actor has now transformed to a new look for his next.
Arvind Swami has been signed to play yesteryear hero and former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, MGR in the Jayalalithaa biopic Thalaivi directed by AL Vijay and starring kangana Ranaut in lead. The actor is now sporting a clean shaven, handsome look to play MGR who had acted 28 movies with Jayalalithaa and was her mentor in politics.
