Shankar's monumental post-production schedule for '2.0'

The shooting of Superstar Rajinikanth's 2.0' directed by Shankar is expected to be completed by January 2017. The project will then undergo a staggering post-production schedule for ten months as the release date is set for 19th October 2017 which is the auspicious Diwali day.
2.0' has extensive VFX work as some of the most stunning sequences have been planned and shot on surreal locations beyond the imagination of the Indian viewers. The costliest Indian film so far has Superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson and a host of pan Indian stars in the cast with A.R. Rahman scoring the music, Nirav Shah handling the camera, T. Muthuraj the production design, Antony the editing. V. Srinivasa Rao the VFX supervision and Legacy Effects taking care of the animatronics.
