Superstar Rajinikanth's main villain in 'Annaathe' revealed?

After five months of the lockdown, the film industry is slowly getting back to its feet after the government announced that shootings can resume with a limited number of crew members with proper social distancing and hygiene measures implemented. We already brought you the news that Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaathe' too would resume soon but without the hero who will join in the New Year considering the risk of his age and his other ailments.

Siruthai Siva the director of 'Annaathe' was keen to have a big star as the main villain in the film and approached Telugu hero Gopichand who also readily agreed. But due to the delays caused by the COVID 19 pandemic he had to opt out.

This will be their third film together and the official confirmation is expected soon.
