Superstar Rajinikanth's Darbar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss, is all set to release worldwide on Thursday, January 9, and the excitement surrounding the movie is growing by the minute. Meanwhile, a special pre-release motion poster has been released, further triggering the anticipation.

Shot in a Mumbai backdrop, Rajinikanth will be essaying the role of a cop in Darbar, while Prateik Babbar, Suniel Shetty, Nivetha Thomas, and Yogi Babu will be playing significant roles.
