Close to four decades Rajinikanth is reigning as the incomparable Superstar of Tamil cinema with his last release Kabali' raking in an unprecedented 800 crores at the worldwide box office strongly reasserting the fact that at 65 he still has universal appeal. Among the next generation of big heroes it is Vijay who has fans right from a toddler to a senior citizen and in many territories his Theri' has come quite close to Kabali'.
Apart from their charisma and mass hero image, the Superstar and the Ilayathalapathy share one more similarity and that is their love lives. Back in the 80s Latha was a huge fan of Rajini and as a student, she went on to interview her idol and they both fell for each other and have enjoyed the marital bliss for the past several decades. London based Sangeetha was a diehard fan of Vijay and met him as a fan and later went on to become the love of his life and the two have enjoyed seventeen years together as husband and wife.
