Rajini and Khusbu together after 25 years?

Khushbu made her Tamil debut in Superstar Rajinikanth's Dharmathin Thalaivan' in 1988, though she was paired opposite Prabhu in the film. Four years later she played his pair in Mannan', Annamalai' and Pandiyan', all three released in the same year.
Now, a buzz is doing the rounds that after twenty five long years Rajini and Khusbu are all set to share the screen space in the as yet untitled movie directed by Ranjith and produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films. When we contacted the director we were informed that it is baseless and he has not approached the yesteryear heroine for his film.
