Superstar Rajinikanth who returned from the USA after a regular health checkup had a lot to cheer at home as his younger daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth is pregnant with her second child. She is married to actor cum pharmaceutical business magnate Vishagan.
Rajini is currently shooting in Chennai for a few days for his 'Annaathe' directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sun Pictures. The team will then fly to Kolkata for the final schedule of filming and will go into postproduction in time for the scheduled Diwali release on November 4th.
Meanwhile there are strong reports that Rajini has signed his next movie with AGS Entertainment and has chosen young director Desingu Periyasamy to helm it. Now going further on that sources add that Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone is in talks for the female lead.
Deepika Padukone already paired with Superstar Rajinikanth in 'Kochadaiyaan' but fans could only see them in their motion capture avatar. In fact the the 'Piku' actress was originally signed for the ambitious historical 'Rana' directed by K.S. Ravikumar but it was shelved due to the sudden illness of Rajini.
If the deal goes through for 'Thalaivar 169' the charismatic stars will share screenspace once again in live versions. Stay tuned for the official update.
