Superstar Rajinikanth teams up with his hattrick hit director for his 166th film

Superstar Rajinikanth is now shooting for the second schedule of 'Thalaivar 165' directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sun Pictures.  The film that has music by Anirudh has an ensemble cast that comprises of Simran, Bobby Simha, Sananth Reddy, Anjali with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vijay Sethupathi.

The latest news that is doing the rounds in Kollywood is that Rajini will be shooting for another film which would be the 166th in his career to be directed by K.S. Ravikumar.  The duo have combined for two blockbuster hits 'Muthu' and 'Padaiyappa' and the commercially successful 'Lingaa'.  The official announcement on this one is expected in the coming weeks.

Superstar Rajinikanth's '2.0' directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca Productions and costarring Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson will be hittting the screens on November 29th.
