Ever since the announcement was made about Superstar Rajinikanth's 164th film to be produced by son-in-law Dhanush and directed by Pa. Ranjith curiosity about the project is sky high. Though many filmmakers have the habit of announcing the title almost near the release date, Wunderbar Films have gone ahead and announced the title before the commencement of shooting.
Kaala' Karikaalan is the mass title of the Rajini-Ranjith- Dhanush film which has music by Santhosh Narayanan with Huma Quereshi and Samuthirakani playing pivotal roles.Karikaalan seems to be the character name of Thalaivar in this film and Kaala seems to be the short form of the name. Karikaalan is the name of a valorous Tamil Chozha king who built the Kallanai dam some 2,000 years back.
'Kabali' is the title of the previous Rajinikanth-Ranjith film and that turned out to be a massive hit. The title was an instant attraction ever since it was announced. 'Kaala' is going to do the same wonder.
