Superstar Rajinikanth in his speech at the '2.0' audio launch lauded director Shankar as the biggest showman and entertainer in India.  He confirmed that the budget for this costliest film ever made in India as 600 Crores and thanked Subashkaran for investing such a huge amount.  He also humbly stated that the money was not shelled out trusting him or Akshay Kumar but one man Shankar.

The Thalaivar explaining how he agreed to do '2.0' said that he did not doubt that Shankar can pull of such a massive project but asked for time to think whether the money can be recovered.  The Superstar expressed his confidence that the film is already a super hit and the only thing pending is for the film to hit the screens on November 29th.
