Rajini - Kamal reunite for MGR film

Today is the birth centenary of Puratchi Thalaivar MGR is being celebrated and to make the occassion even more special Vels University head Iysari Ganesh launched 'Kizhakku Africavil Raju' a dream project of the former superstar and chief minister. Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan joined hands to participate as chief guests on the occassion. This is the first public function the duo are attending together after announcing individual political entries.
The animation film Kizhakku Africavil Raju' will have the digitally created MGR in the lead role and will begin production from March this year. The film is directed by Arul Murthy with music score by D.Imman and produced on a large scale by Vel's Films International.
