Today marks the 74th independence day of India, and besides the day of national importance, it's a special day for fans of Superstar Rajnikanth as well, as the day marks 45 years since his entry into films.

It was on August 15, 1975 that superstar Rajinikanth made his entry in Tamil cinema playing an important supporting role in the K Balachander directed Aboorva Raagangal starring Kamal Haasan and Sri Vidya.

On the special occasion, Rajnikanth's daughter Aishwarya Dhanush shared a lovely photo of herself with Rajnikanth, with both of them clad in white attires and the national flag pinned on them. Aishwarya captioned the photo "74 years and celebrating #jaihind???? 45 years and counting ????♥️", and this photo has turned viral.
