Veteran politician and former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, Kalaignar M.Karunanidhi celebrates his 91st Birthday today. Many Film industries have wished the nonagenarian who has a close connection with film industry. He has written script, dialogues and lyrics for many films including veteran actor Sivaji Ganesan’s debut film ‘Parasakthi’ and MGR’s ‘Mandhiri Kumari’.

Superstar Rajinikanth telephoned the DMK patriarch and wished him for his birthday. Ace lyricist Vairamuthu who shares a deep bonding with the senior leader also wished him on his birthday.
