The Supreme Court on Tuesday convicted V K Sasikala and two others in the disproportionate assets case, sentencing them as per the Trial Court's judgement. Sasikala has kept stalling since the apex court ordered the accused to surrender immediately.

The former had raised a plea to the Supreme Court, seeking a few weeks before she turned herself in. Sasikala's advocate, K T S Tulsi had stated that her client needed more time to take care of some responsibilities to prevent 'irreparable damage'.

The Court, however, shot down the plea immediately quoting, "We do not intend to pass any order on this.We are not going to change anything in the judgement".
