The actor, who was first seen as nothing more than a sidekick to other actors or a punch bag comedian in movies, stunned everyone with his outstanding performance in Dr. Biju’s Perariyathavar. Compliments from people both inside and outside film industry are pouring on him. Now, everyone knows what this comedian is really capable of.

Sources say that the role Suraj Venjaranmoodu essayed in the award winning movie, Perariyathavar was first rejected by mainstream actors of the Malayalam movie industry. The announcement of award must have given them quite a bit of jolt.
