Ram Charan - Surender Reddy film is a remake

We have already reported that Ram Charan will be working with Surender Reddy for his next.
According to reliable sources, this film will be the remake of Tamil Super hit film 'Thani Oruvan'. Since Jayam Raja, who directed the original, is going to direct the Hindi remake with Salman Khan, Charan wanted Surender Reddy to direct this movie.
The Mega Powerstar will be seen as a cop in this thriller and a speculation is rife that Rana Daggubati will be roped in as the baddie.
DVV Danayya, who is currently producing Cherry's 'Bruce Lee', and NV Prasad will jioingly produce this movie. They bought the remake rights for a whopping 5.5 Crores.
