The true reason why Suriya's blockbuster film removed from OTT

Suriya is one of the few top heroes who has never shied to experiment and has given his fans much joy by providing a variety of characters and genres. One of the most celebrated films of Suriya in recent times is '24' directed by Vikram Kumar that dealt with time travel.

'24' which was streaming on Amazon Prime Video was suddenly pulled off from last evening and fans were at a loss as to what could have gone wrong. Speculations started that there could be some infringement of rules or some other litigation.

The true reason for '24' being taken off air is that a problem occurred in the audio coding and the process of correcting that is underway and soon will start streaming again according to official sources.

'24' produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment had him playing triple roles as a genius scientist, his evil twin Athreya and his son Subramani. Samantha Akkineni and Nithya Menen played the female leads with music score by A.R. Rahman. The film was a blockbuster hit when released in 2016 and continues to enthrall audiences in various platforms.

Suriya's fans are eagerly awaiting the release of his next biggie 'Soorarai Pottru' directed by Sudha Kongara which has music by G.V. Prakashkumar and costars Aparna Balamurali, Mohan Babu, Jackie Shroff and Paresh Rawal.
