Suriya's 24 Trailer Review

The trailer of 24 was released moments ago. Going a step further than the teaser, it introduces to the viewer a taste of the romantic track as well as conflict involving the evil character of Surya and the other Surya.
Phrases like "Happy birthday to me" and "I cannot live a life like this. I want back everything that I lost" suggest that there is a drama involving a sinister character. On the other hand, the line "All the glory of the world is going to be under my feet" says it all: there is a sociopathic character played by the quadriplegic Suryah's character. The scientist's character invents a time machine which won't mostly work. But if it works, then it's doomsday, perhaps.
Nithya Menen is seen wailing as she fears for her son's life in the event of the villain coming to know that the watch is with him.
All this means that Vikram Kumar is back to telling a complex story. However, as was clear in Manam, he can convey even a complext screenplay in a fluid way.
The romantic track involving Surya and Samantha is not original, apparently. The son-mother element reminds one of what might be in store in Policeodu.
