Suriya 38 gets another promising director on board!

Actor Suriya, who had last made an on screen appearance in Thaanaa Serndha Koottam has a number of movies lined up, including the political thriller NGK directed by Selvaraghavan and the action packed thriller Kaappaan directed by KV Anand, which will both be releasing this year.
Following these two movies, he will be joining hands with director Sudha Kongara of Irudhi Suttru fame for his 38th movie, and Suriya 38 has been said to be inspired by the life of Air Deccan founder and former Indian Army captain GR Gopinath, and an official confirmation is awaited on this aspect.
Now it has been revealed that director Vijay Kumar who had made a stunning debut with Uriyadi (2016) has been roped in to pen dialogues for Suriya 38. It must be noted that Vijay Kumar's second movie Uriyadi 2 has been produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment, and the project is in post production phase.
