Actor Suriya was last seen in the movie Soorarai Pottru directed by Sudha Kongara, and this movie which was released directly on Amazon prime video received huge positive reviews.

Following this, Suriya is set to begin his 40th movie which will be directed by Pandiraj, marking their second collaboration after Pasanga 2 and this movie is produced by Sun pictures.

Now Pandiraj has given an interesting update on Suriya 40, as he tweeted wishing Happy new year to fans and adding that the shooting of Suriya 40 begins in February, and after finalizing 2 characters, updates will come in 2,3 weeks. Besides, he has added a knife emoticon, and fans are speculating that Suriya 40 might be titled Kaththi Kuthu.
