Is this the storyline of ‘Suriya 43’? - Sudha Konagara touches true events again!

Nadippin Nayagan Suriya will completely wrap up the filming of his next film, 'Kanguva'. The magnum opus directed by Siruthai Siva is likely to hit the screens worldwide in April 2024. It will be Suriya's biggest release to date. Meanwhile, the actor joins director Sudha Kongara for 'Suriya 43' after this project.

Indiaglitz already broke to you that 'Suriya 43' commences filming in Madurai in January 2024. The set works are currently going at American College, Madurai where some portions will be shot with Suriya as a student. He plays a student entering politics in certain portions of this flick. Now, the latest reports suggest that the 'Suriya 43' storyline is set between 1950 to 1965. The movie revolves around the anti-Hindi imposition movement in Tamil Nadu. The makers are effectively working to bring in vintage Chennai which includes the set-making of Anna Saalai and head office. Suriya's character will be talking about the importance of studies.

The ensemble cast of Suriya 43 also includes Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim and Vijay Varma. 'Suriya 43' has music by GV Prakash Kumar and it marks the composer's 100th film. 2D Entertainment is producing the venture. Suriya will be losing weight to play the student role and the flick is tentatively titled 'Purananooru'.
