Producer reveals truth about Suriya movie flop status

Producer reveals truth about Suriya movie flop status

Suriya's 2014 film 'Anjaan' released with never before seen hype and promotions and took a gigantic opening of 12 Crore rupees on the first day which is huge by any yardstick.  However there is a general feeling that the film directed by Linguswamy is the biggest flop in Suriya's career.

However producer Dhananjayan who worked for UTV at the time has cleared the air that 'Anjaan' gave the corporate its biggest profit ever in Tamil movie production.  He revealed that he has to thank Suriya and Linguswamy for making all investors happy. 

'Anjaan' had Suriya and Samantha as the lead pair while Vidyuth Jamwal and Soori played supporting roles with Yuvan Shankar Raja providing a chartbuster album.
