'Si3'- Huge first weekend collections at Tamil Nadu Box office

The political turmoil in the ruling party taking a toll on Tamil Nadu and the people's primary focus being stuck upon the power struggle between Chief Miniser O.Panner Selvam and V.K.Sasikala the General Secretary of the ADMK party who wants to replace him as the CM.

Despite this political storm, Actor Suriya's 'Si3' has struck the box office like a tornado of humongous collections. Having released on Thursday (February 9) after a a few postponements, the film has collected a whopping Rs.26 across Tamil Nadu in the four days of release or the first weekend.

The third part of the blockbuster 'Singam' franchise directed by Hari has been getting unanimously positive reviews from all corners and that is exactly reflecting in the collection figures.

In Chennai the film has collected Rs.2.42 crores and Rs.5.1 crores has come from Chengalpet said to be the biggest of film distribution areas. Coimbatore alone has contributed a whopping Rs.4.5 crores to the total collection made by the film across the state.

With this tremendous performance in the first weekend and good word of mouth we can be assured that 'Si3' is going to be a blockbuster hit and it will be the fitting addition to the highly successful 'Singam' franchise.
