Actor's Suriya's next film which has been hitherto called as 'S3' denoting 'Singam 3' will be henceforth called as 'C3' in accordance to the Title written in Tamil alphabets (சிங்கம் 3). The name change has been officially confirmed by the makers.

It is a well known fact that only the films bearing Tamil titled will be considered for the 30% Entertainment Tax exemption granted by the Tamil Nadu State Government.

Hence the third installment of the blockbuster 'Singam' series directed by Hari will be hereafter called as 'C3' in English and 'சி3` in Tamil.

Produced by K.E.Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green banner, 'C3' is all set to hit the screens on January 26, 2017 for the Republic Day holiday weekend.
