Suriya injured

An injury on the sets of '7am Arivu' has stopped Suriya from attending the premiere of 'Raththa Charithiram 2' in Malaysia. The actor has been advised by doctors to take rest for few days, we learn.
According to sources, an action scene was being shot for the A R Murugadoss-directed venture when the incident took place. The injury is at the end of the spinal cord, circles close to Suriya say.
Following this, Suriya is in complete rest now. Through his manager, the actor has informed ÂRaththa Charithiram director Ram Gopal Varma that he could not make it to the premiere, sources maintain.
Saying that Suriya very much wanted to go to Malaysia to attend the special show and to meet his fans there, sources add: But fate had other plans. The injury has played spoilsport.
