Exclusive! Suriyas Kanguva becomes Tamil cinemas first pan world film

Suriya's new movie 'Kanguva' is hogging the limelight ever since its glimpse teaser was released on July 23rd as a grand birthday treat from Suriya to his fans. Already K.E. Gnanavelraja of Studio Green the producer has let out that its one of the biggest budgeted films in the making and the story has pan Indian appeal.

Now in an exclusive interview to us veteran producer G. Dhananjayan who is associated with the production house has let out that 'Kanguva' is not only pan Indian but also is pan World. He revealed that Gnanavelraja feels that the content is such a high concept one that it has the potential to be dubbed in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, English and other world languages. The core story featuring the flash back is set 1500 years in the past similar to the vikings saga and there will be raw, rustic & grandeur action and emotional sequences recreating those times.

Already plans are to release the film in 10 Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi and now the number will be much higher that will reach a hitherto untouched audience base for Tamil content. There is more about the project and its potential to score 1000 Crore rupees at the box office from Dhananjayan in the video below.

'Kanguva' is directed by Siruthai Siva with Devi Sri Prasad scoring the music. The film stars Suriya and Disha Patani in the lead with Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandraj, Jagapathi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam and Bobby Deol.
