There is a huge buzz from the Malayalam industry that Suriya and Karthi are teaming up for the first time in the Tamil remake of the super hit film 'Ayyapanum Koshiyum' starring Prithviraj and Biju Menon. The news has been received with thunderous response since Suriya and Karthi would be the apt for the challenging characters of a headstrong army man and an equally imposing cop. However there is no confirmation as of now regarding this buzz.

The rights for the remake of 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' is with Five Star Kathiresan and he has already said to have signed Sasikumar for one of the characters and is looking for another star. Anyways its showbusiness and anything can change at any moment so lets keep our fingers crossed.

Suriya has currently awaiting the release of his next 'Soorarai Pottru' directed by Sudha Kongara and will soon begin shooting for 'Aruvaa' directed by Hari.
