Suriya buys new luxury house for Rs.70 Crores and moves out of Chennai permanently?

Suriya is one of the leading superstars of Tamil cinema who is also much respected for his acting skills and dedication towards his art. The variety of characters that he portrayed in films such as 'Nanda', 'Mounam Pesiyathe', 'Pithamagan', 'Perazhagan', 'Ghajini', 'Ayan' ,'Mayavi' and 'Jai Bhim' have been loved by both critics and fans.

To top it all Suriya won the National Award for Best Actor for Sudha Kongara's 'Soorarai Pottru'. Currently he is acting in more than ten roles in 'Suriya 42' directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Studio Green and U V Creations in which Disha Patani plays his pair.

On the personal front Suriya who is married to fellow actress Jyothika has two children Diya and Dev and the couple's production house 2D Entertainment is named after their children. We broke the news earlier to you that Suriya bought a new house in Mumbai and shifted there with family to facilitate Diya's higher education.

Now it has been reported that Surya has bought another luxury flat in one of the most affluent areas in Mumbai for a staggering rupees seventy crores. Sources say that the apartment is in a built up space of 9,000 sq.ft in a gated community that is home for the top Bollywood celebrities and polticians. The family has their own garden space and parking facilities for several cars. The same reports suggest that Surya bought the new house to be used as a guest house for his mom and dad, brother Karthi and family and sister Brinda and family when they visit Mumbai. It will be also used to celebrate the children's birthday parties, special events and celebrations.

It is already said that Suriya has acquired the contract for parking space at the Mumbai airport and also has invested in other businesses in the city. He is currently producing the Hindi remake of 'Soorarai Pottru' starring Akshay Kumar and plans to produce more films there as well. Film industry analysts feel that the above moves by Suriya clearly indicates that he and his family are settling for good in Mumbai and will operate from there.

Suriya's upcoming movies apart from 'Suriya 42' are Vetrimaaran's 'Vaadivaasal' and a project in Telugu and Hindi each that will be officially announced in the coming months. He also will be starring in films by Sudha Kongara, T.J. Gnanavel and Lokesh Kanagaraj in the future.
