We broke the news to you as early as 2019 that Suriya has agreed to star in a new film directed by Bala, who gave him his biggest career break in 'Nandha' and later a memorable character in 'Pitha Magan.' Read : Suriya-Bala movie to have two more heroes ?

Now the hot update is that the pre-production of the untitled project is underway and could go on floors by the end of the year as well. According to our source the film has another hero and is going to be produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment.

The same source also adds that the announcement of the Suriya-Bala project could come as early as Suriya's birthday which is just three days from now on July 23rd. Lets wait with our fingers crossed on this super exciting development.
