After 'Navarasa' Suriya begins another quickie before big projects

Suriya is on a career high after his recent film 'Soorarai Pottru' directed by Sudha Kongara not only received high critical acclaim but also received record breaking views on Amazon Prime Video and ranks on top amongst all the Indian films released on OTT in India.
Suriya shot and completed his portions in Mani Ratnam's ambitious webseries project 'Navarasa' directed by Gautham Menon with P.C.Sriram behind the lens.
Now Suriya has begun shooting for a quickie for his banner 2D Entertainment directed by Gnanavel of 'Kootathil Oruthan' fame. The untitled film addresses an important social issue with young writer and actor Manikandan playing the lead role.
Suriya reportedly plays an advocate in the new film and has given dates for couple of weeks. The intense star will then move on to 'Suriya 40' directed by Pandiraj and produced by Sun Pictures in the first week of February.
Suriya later in the year is expected to commence Vetrimaaran's much awaited 'Vaadivaasal' produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu.
