Official ! Suriya to act in new movie between 'Suriya 42' and 'Vaadivasal'

Post the back to back massive successes of 'Soorarai Pottru', 'Jai Bhim' and the riveting cameo appearance in 'Vikram', Suriya is linging up one major project after another. He is currently shooting for 'Suriya 42' a two part historical fantasy adventure pan Indian film directed by Siruthai Siva with Disha Patani as his pair.
Meanwhile November 2nd marks one year since the release of the critically acclaimed 'Jai Bhim'. Suriya shared his happiness on Twitter writing Happy to celebrate one year of #JaiBhim From script to execution this film kept getting stronger & stronger.. I thank my brother @tjgnan Gnanavel & Team for giving us this most meaningful film. Lawyer Chandru is a landmark role in my career!
T.J. Gnanavel has revealed that he has begun preproduction work for his next movie Suriya which will also be produced by 2D Entertainment. The film will go on floors in March 2023 and the rest of the cast and crew details will be revealed soon.
Since 'Suriya 42' requires several months from Suriya it looks like the hardworking star will be doing the Gnanavel project during a break. In all likelihood the project will be fitted in somewhere between 'Suriya 42' and 'Vetrimaaran's 'Vaadivasal'.
There is also projects for Suriya with Sudha Kongara and Shankar which means that he is going to be super busy for the next three years atleast. Now the big question is what will happen to Bala's 'Vanangaan' which was suspended after 40 days of shooting. Stay tuned for more official updates on all these exciting projects.
