Suriya's remake to be made by two different directors?

Suriya along with director Hari has created one of Tamil cinema's first franchise film with the blockbuster Singam' spawning two sequels in Tamil. Both the Hindi versions Singham' and Singham Returns' directed by Rohit Shetty and starring Ajay Devgan in the lead role achieved super hit status. In a recent press interaction Rohit Shetty has revealed that due to public demand he is planning to make Singham 3' obviously with Ajay Devgan reprising his role.
Only a few days back came an announcement that cinematographer turned director Ravi K Chandran is remaking S3' in Hindi with Sunny Deol as the leading man. What we can make of this is that the Ravi K Chandran film will be a faithful remake of Suriya's 'S3' and Rohit Shetty will probably go for a new screenplay with Ajay Devgan.
