Suriya one of the most intense and dedicated superstars of Tamil cinema delivered three back to back super hits 'Soorarai Pottru', 'Jai Bhim' and 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' that were also critically acclaimed. He is all set to make an important cameo appearance in Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj that is releasing worldwide in theaters on June 3rd.

Suriya meanwhile is on to the second major schedule of shooting for 'Suriya 41' directed by Bala that has Krithi Shetty as the female lead. Now the hot update on what could be 'Suriya 42' is out.

According to the latest buzz in Kollywood Suriya will wrap up the shoot of the Bala film by mid June and will immediately hop on to his long pending film with director Siruthai Siva that will go on floors in July. It is said that Suriya will play dual roles in the film that will have a major period portion in it on the scales of S.S. Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' and Prashanth Neel's 'KGF'.

Much like these two monster hit films the Suriya-Siruthai Siva project is also a historical fantasy based subject likely to have two parts and preproduction work is going on for the same. It is also said that Anirudh will be scoring the music in place of D. Imman who was announced as the composer for this project in 2019.
