Actor Suriya, who was last seen on screen in the Selvaraghavan directed political entertainer NGK, will be seen next in KV Anand's Kaappaan costarring Mohanlal, Arya, Sayyeshaa and Samthirakani, and the movie is set to release on August 30.

After Kaappaan, Suriya's next movie is Soorarai Pottru directed by Sudha Kongara who had earlier directed Irudhi Suttru. It has been said that Soorarai Pottru is based on the life of GR Gopinath, former army captain and founder of the low cost air carrier Air Deccan.

It has been revealed that, this movie will feature Ilan and Iyal, the twin kids of actor Arjunan who has acted in movies like Kadhalil Sothappuvathu Yeppadi and Tik Tik Tik. Soorarai Pottru has Aparna Balamurali as Suriya's pair and has music by GV Prakash.
