Music director Govind Vasantha, who is popular among music lovers with his famous Thaikudam Bridge music band, has scored music for several movies like Asuravadham and Seethakaathi and had given a superhit album for Vijay Sethupathi - Trisha starrer 96.

Govind Vasantha had also composed music for Uriyadi 2 which was produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment. Today, at the audio launch event of Thambi for which he has composed music, Govind revealed an interesting detail on the gift he was given by Producer Suriya.

Suriya had reportedly gifted Govind vasantha a Macbook as he was impressed with the background music of Uriyadi 2. Thambi, which has Karthi and Jyothika playing lead roles and also starring Sathyaraj, Seetha, Sowcar Janaki, Ammu Abhirami and Anson Paul is set to release this December.
