Simbu's much anticipated political thriller Maanadu was expected to be released last month on the occasion of Eid but the ongoing pandemic has brought everything to a standstill. The team is very well sure about having a theatrical release so the date is postponed.

Recently Yuvan shankar Raja bagged the music rights of this film and made it official through a post in social media platforms. Now Simbu has announced that first single teaser will be released today at 6.pm. This news has come out to be a sweet surprise for his fans.

The single named "Meherezylaa" will be released by Yuvan on his official Instagram handle. The poster for this song looks pleasing with Simbu and Kalyani Priyadharshan on it.

The film is directed by Venkat Prabhu and has SJ Surya in lead roles. Silambarasan tasted the success of his comeback film Eeswaran recently and currently filming for 'Pathu Thala'.
