Director Suseenthiran who had debuted with Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu, went on to direct hits like Naan Mahaan Alla, Jeeva, Pandiya Nadu and had last directed Genius. He is currently working on few movies like Champion, Angelina and few more movies.

Recently Suseenthiran had made his debut as an actor with Suttu Pidikka Utharavu directed by Ramprakash Rayappa who had earlier directed Thamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum and Pokkiri Raja, and the director's acting has been received well.

Following the good response to the movie and his performance, Suseenthiran has gifted a gold chain to Ramprakash Rayappa for the successful debut. Suttu Pidikka Utharavu is an action thriller, that also stars Vikranth, Mysskin, Athulya, and has music by Jakes Bejoy.
