Sushant's ex-manager Disha didn't commit suicide, she was 'raped and murdered': BJP MP

Thursday, August 6, 2020 • Tamil Comments

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide on July 14 left the entire nation in shock, and people associated with the actor and his fans have been demanding answers from the police as to why the talented actor decided to take such a drastic step.

Sushant's death was initially considered suicide as a result of depression. However, in recent developments, Sushant's family filed a complaint against the late actor's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty of abetting his suicide, accusing her of fraud, among other things. Based on the information, Rhea was booked under sections 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement), 380 (theft in dwelling house), 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust), 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) and 306 (abetment of suicide) of the Indian Penal Code. Meanwhile, Sushant's psychologist-therapist, Susan Walker, informed a journalist that the actor was suffering from bipolar disorder. She had reportedly stated, "Sushant was suffering terribly during his bouts of depression and hypomania. I met Sushant and Rhea on several occasions in November and December 2019 and communicated again with Rhea in June of this year. Sushant was suffering from bipolar disorder, a severe mental illness that can be crippling for an individual during an episode.

People have also been seeking answers related to the suicide of Sushant's former manager Disha Salian, who took her own life less than a week before Sushant. She had jumped off the 12th floor of a building in Mumbai's Malad on June 9. BJP MP Narayan Rane has now made a shocking claim that Disha had not died by suicide, but was, in fact, raped and murdered. According to a report by a news agency, Rane said that based on Disha's autopsy reports, injury marks were found on her private parts. He also alleged that the Maharashtra government officials were trying to 'save the culprits' in Sushant and Disha's cases.
