Susi dares Sasi

Susi Ganesan has come out with a detailed reply to journalist Gnani, who criticised the filmmaker's 'Kanthaswamy' in his column in a Tamil vernacular last week.

In an open letter to the columnist, which was published in the same magazine, Susi said Gnani has tried to establish a myth that 'Subramaniapuram', 'Pasanga' and 'Naadodigal' were great movies by talking ill of 'Kanthaswamy'.

Subramaniapuram was made in the backdrop of rowdyism and love. Pasanga, which claimed itself a movie for children, came with messages for elders. Naadidogal is a story of three friends, who wandered to unite a love. You have tried to create an illusion that the above three are great films, Susi said.

Claiming that his 'Kanthaswamy' is the first Tamil film to drive home the message that the black money in Swiss Banks should be brought to India, Susi said the movie had collected Rs 37 crore in its first week of release.

Interestingly, all the three movies mentioned by Susi are related to Sasikumar. While 'Subramaniapuram' is directed and produced by him, 'Pasanga' is his production venture and he had acted in the lead role in 'Naadodigal'.
