Well known Bengali actress Arya Banerjee, known for acting in several Bollywood films like The Dirty Picture and Love Sex and Dhokha, was found dead at her residence in south Kolkata yesterday. Police have filed a case of suspicious death.

As per reports, the police broke open the door of her apartment in the third floor and found 33 year old Arya Banerjee's body lying in the bedroom. Arya had been living alone in her house in Jodhpur Park.

It has been said that the actress had vomitted some food and there were blood droplets on floor. Police have said that there seems to be no foul play primarily and the death reason will be known after post-mortem report. Arya is the daughter of late sitarist Nikhil Bandyopadhyay.
