Suzhal – The Vortex Trailer: Looks Like A Solid Thrilling Series

Amazon Prime Video started 2025 on a successful note by releasing Paatal Lok Season 2 last month. This season is being lauded as one of the best outings of Prime Video. Now, aiming to continue the success streak, Prime Video is now coming up with the second season of another successful web series, Suzhal: The Vortex.

The first season of Suzhal was released in 2022 and got good critical and popular acclaim. Given the success of it, the makers renewed it for the second season. The trailer for Season 2 was unveiled today. Going by it, the series looks solid to continue the success streak started by Paatal Lok Season 2.

Kathir and Aishwarya Rajesh, who played the leads in the first season, reprised their roles in this new season too. The story revolves around the investigation of lawyer Chellappa (Lal)’s murder. SI Sakkarai (Kathir) investigates the case and finds out eight women suspects who are involved in the murder but with no connection with one another. How Sakkarai will resolve the questions and mysteries around Chellappa’s murder might be the main crux of the series.

The trailer looks solid and raises expectations. Pushkar-Gayatri of Vikram Vedha fame created the project. It is slated for a worldwide premiere on February 28.
