T Rajendar announces political party

While Tamil Nadu politics is getting heated up already with Kamal officially having made his plunge with Makkal Needhi Maiam and Rajini soon to follow suit. It seems that one another actor has decided to don the whites and step into the political arena as well.

T.Rajendar had ealier said that he will be revealing an important decision this day. Accordingly, the actor has officially launched his political party named ‘Latchiya Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam’. It is also worth noting here that the name board of the party had the images of Periyar, Anna, MGR and Jayalalithaa on it. We’ll have to wait to know if the actor’s re-entry into the political ring will gain favour among the masses.
