TV actor arrested after wife's suicide

We had earlier reported the suicide of Bharati aged 34 the wife of television actor Madhu Prakash who has also played a small role in S.S. Rajamouli's 'Baahubali'. The actor had reportedly come home on Tuesday at 7.30pm after working out in the gym and found his wife hanging dead on the ceiling fan.
The parents of Bharati lodged a complaint that Madhu Prakash who married their daughter in 2014 had got from them 15 lakhs as dowry but kept on harassing her for more and more money. They also alleged that he had an affair with another woman which pushed Bharati into depression and she took the extreme step. The Hyderabad police on Wednesday arrested Madhu Prakash on charges of dowry harassment leading to the death of his wife and are also probing if there is any foul play in the unfortunate incident.
