Shivaji-starrer and production 'Taj Mahal' is set for a Sankranthi release. The remake of Kannada blockbuster of the same title is yet another film that is joining the fray in the festive season. It is said that the film will be releasing on the 14th of January.

The actor has pinned great hopes on this love story and is confident that the gossamer emotional content of the film will touch the audience.

Sivaji, who was thoroughly moved by the love story unfolding before his eyes, when he watched the original in Bengaluru, made a quick decision to produce it so that the Telugu audience do not miss out on this one. Sivaji must be keeping his fingers crossed. Directed by Arun Singaraju, the film has Nasser, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Brahmanandam, Venu Madhav and others in the cast.
