A Tamil actor and producer dying by suicide has sent shock waves in Kollywood circles. The body of Kumarajan aged 35 was found hanging inside his house in Namakkal on Sunday afternoon and the police were informed who then took it for postmortem.

Kumarajan had acted as the hero and also produced the movie 'Santhippom Sinthippom' and is said to have been depressed due to his film career not taking off as he had expected. However, no suicide note was found and the police are holding investigations as to why he took the extreme step.
