Tamil actor Vivek put on ECMO support as health turns critical

Kollywood comedian Vivek, who is aged 59, was shooting for his upcoming film and whilst he was busy with the shoot, he suffered a heart attack this morning. His condition is said to be critical at the moment. He is undergoing treatment at the SIMS hospital at Vadapalani. He has been put on ECMO machine.

Known for his comical roles in popular titles like 'Aparichitudu', Vivek has been a promoter of Covid vaccinations. He was also actively involved in social service awareness programmes for the betterment of the society.

He is known for his versatile acting roles in Tamil cinema and is very celebrated by his fans and the industry as well.
