Tamil Businessman attracts big production house

Thanks to Mahesh Babu's stardom, the Tamil version of Businessman has attracted the attention of a big production house, Studio Green, to buy the rights of the movie and release it for the Pongal. The house is owned by Gnanavel Raja, who has produced many hits with Suriya and Karthi as heroes.

Aside from the fact that Studio Green has reportedly bagged the release rights of the Tamil version, it is learnt that Gnanavel is also keen on remaking the movie if the film becomes a hit in Telugu.

Since the popularity of the Tamil version cannot be taken for granted just because of Mahesh Babu's presence, the producer seems to be mooting a remake even though the dubbed version would be released.

The movie is set to release this Friday. It is the considered view of the trade pundits that the Malayalam version is likely to fetch more money than the Tamil Nadu market, as the experience of Arya2 and a couple of other dubbed films from Telugu shows.
